Dave Sharpe We know that the mind has at least two levels. The one we know best is the conscious level. It is highly effective in making your daily thousand-and-one decisions. When you perform any conscious act, your Conscious Mind sends the orders to your body. And when you go to sleep, your Conscious Mind goes to sleep. The other level never sleeps. This is the Creative Mind (sometimes referred to as the Subconscious Mind). Your Creative Mind literally keeps you alive. It is responsible for the involuntary life functions such as your heartbeat and your breathing. Most important for our purpose: your Creative Mind also governs your personality, your character, your inmost drives, your deepest and most secret desires! In his classic book Grow Rich While You Sleep! Ben Sweetland promised to show how to harness the power of the Creative Mind, and use it to accomplish spectacular results. The secret? Communicating with your Creative Mind while your Conscious Mind sleeps along with the rest of you. This process is NOT sleeplearning or subliminal programming. It IS a creative way of directing your Creative Mind to achieve your Desires without the interference of the Conscious Mind. As you sleep, your Creative Mind is highly receptive and the Conscious Mind cannot interfere. Send your Creative Mind a message while you sleep, and that message sinks in. It even can eradicate undesirable old messages. (You can do this at other times, too, but the best time is when you are asleep.) Building on many of the principles in Napoleon Hills Laws of Success, Sweetland presents a step-by-step process for learning how to utilize the amazing abilities of this underused but powerful Mind. Here's an excerpt from Chapter 9 of Grow Rich While You Sleep! It will give you the framework to use in harnessing the power of your Creative Mind: 1. Know that your Creative Mind is occupied every hour of the day; and that it is working for or against you. 2. Know that your Creative Mind is working for you because you hold nothing but positive, constructive thoughts. 3. Be specific in the instructions you give to your Creative Mind. If it is better health you want, know that your Creative Mind is directing the glands and organs of your body to bring you better health, and that thoughts will come into your consciousness directing you to do the things necessary to promote better health. If you desire further advancement in your work, know that your Creative Mind will direct you to take the steps necessary to assure advancement. If problems stand between you and your happiness, know that your Creative Mind, with its reasoning faculties, will provide a practical solution for you. Know that your Creative Mind stands ready, able and willing to assist you in any way you may desire. 4. Free
your mind from worry. As you now know, your Creative Mind is the seat
of intelligence. If you have been thoughtful as you read these pages,
you will know that the maximum amount of intelligence which one may haveconsciouslyis
nothing at all compared to the amount we all have in our Creative Minds.
Worry prevents you from doing the things which would provide the means
to prevent the worry! This is literally true. To worry is to doubt the
intelligence and power of your Creative Mind. 5. Have
faith. Make certain you are not merely wishing for better conditions
through your Creative Mind. Sense the feeling of self-mastery which comes
when you fully understand the truth of the statement made earlier, to
the effect that the conscious mind is the masterthe Creative Mind
the Servant." Take action and follow this framework, and you'll discover
that opportunities and solutions will appear as if by coincidence! These
coincidences are the result of your Creative Mind directing
you to take specific actions. After the opportunity or solution appears,
then it's up to you to seize it, and make it work for you. No free lunch,
just an effective tool as you pursue self-mastery. Source: TheExtendedMind.com More headlines at www.mindpowernews.com
